In 2004,  Captain Mark and Suzanne cast off as a team  sailing into the uncharted waters of courtship, engagement and an unforgettable August 19th, 2006 wedding ceremony at the Miles River Yacht Club in St. Michaels. As they celebrate their 10th anniversary, after countless day sails and sunset cruises on the Chesapeake Bay, organizing nine award winning Pirates and Wenches festivals in Rock Hall, and receiving acolades for their unique and intimate sailing tours, they are now re-energizing their dreams of sharing their adventures with their friends and customers.

For the past ten years, Captain Mark and Suzanne have been committed to providing the best possible sailing experiences at the best possible prices. Although, limited in availability, Island Girl Caribbean sailing adventures will be offered between January 1st and March 31st at a price that is impossible to beat.

Suzanne and Mark's Caribbean adventures began aboard the Crab Imperial with an unforgettable 1500 mile sailing cruise to the US and British Virgin Islands in 2005-2006.  Having explored and discovered the many incredible tropical island destinations, anchorages, restaurants, activities, etc, you can expect an adventure of a lifetime with knowlegeable hosts at an exceptional price aboard Island Girl.

Blue Crab Chesapeake Charters was started in Annapolis in 1994 with the Crab Cruise to Cantler's Restaurant and was moved to Rock Hall in 1998. 

"Blue Crab" (photo 1) a Maxi 8.7 Meter Swedish sloop sailing from 1994-2002 in both Annapolis and Rock Hall.

"Crab Imperial" (photo 2) a Watkins 36 sailed over 2500 90 minute cruises in Rock Hall between 2002 and 2013, and completed a 5,000 mile ocean sailing adventure to Bermuda and the Virgin Islands between 2005 and 2006.

"Crab Royale" (photo 3) an Irwin 40 MKII was sailed up to 5 times daily from Waterman's Crab House Restaurant in Rock Hall between 2013 and 2017.

"Island Girl" (photo 4) is a Morgan 43 Center Cockpit presently being cruised part time for Chesapeake Charters and will be heading to the Virgin Islands in the near future for Caribbean sailing vacations.
